June 12: Ekiti Governor declares Monday public holiday

The Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has declared Monday as public holiday in honour of the winner of the June 12, 1993 Presidential Election, the late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola.

Ogun, Ondo and Oyo states had earlier declared Monday as public holiday in commemoration of the 24th anniversary of the June 12 incident

In a statement issued on Sunday in Ado Ekiti, Fayose said he took the decision to join his other colleagues in the South West in the spirit of unity of the region.

He said, “Youruba nation’s interest is beyond personal interest of anyone. For us to forge ahead as a people, we must speak with one voice.

“In the light of this, I declare Monday a public holiday to further strengthen our collective belief, hope and aspirations.

“This, I have done in the spirit of Yoruba nation and South West integration.”

Recall that the late Bashorun Moshood Abiola won the election adjudged to be the most credible in the history of the country.

However, his victory was annulled by the then military Head of State, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida (retd.).

cartierbraceletlove I learned somewhere not to add an extra apostrophe. I think that in most cases where the writer is referring to McDonald’s, Trader Joe’s and St. Michael’s, the reader should be able to infer by context that it is a business or institution that is being referenced, and not an individual, so the confusion should be minimal.

Thanks for sharing your ideas with this blog. Also, a myth regarding the finance institutions intentions when talking about home foreclosure is that the bank will not have my installments. There is a certain amount of time which the bank will need payments in some places. If you are as well deep in the hole, they’re going to commonly call that you pay the payment in whole. However, that doesn’t mean that they will have any sort of repayments at all. In the event you and the lender can be capable to work a little something out, the foreclosure approach may halt. However, if you continue to miss out on payments in the new system, the home foreclosure process can pick up where it was left off.
