More revelations are coming out over how the INEC returning Officer for Rivers South East announced the disputed results after being manhandled, wounded, and his head bloodied by operatives of Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
The police SARs Personnel led by their controversial commander, Akin Fakorede had raided the collation centre at the Port Harcourt City Council.
Fakorede and his men attacked the collation officer for Emohua local government area, Chukwudi Odekpa, breaking his head.
The SARs officials also manhandled the Emohua local government electoral officer, Mary Tonkoyo.
Meanwhile, they failed as they did not know that the results have been already left in the INEC Toyota Hilux vehicle in the grounds.
The SARS Personnel also destroyed the equipment of the Channels Television live broadcast and beat up the Old GRA divisional police officer.
In the course of fracas they kidnapped the PDP agent, Chinyere Igwe.
Governor Wike had to join the Rivers people keeping watch outside the collation office.
Upon sighting the convoy of Governor Wike, the SARs officers commenced shooting periodically into the air, before leaving the area.
